Meet the family

This is the home and catalog of what happens in life and mind, thoughts and adventures up on the Big Lake: Lake Superior, the Great Gitche Gumee (and beyond). Beginning our story together in the mountains Colorado, we've traveled to tops of high peaks and the bottoms of seas; we've loved, and lived all over this great country and have decided to settle down [for good], deepen our roots, and raise our spawn down home on the Chequamegon Bay of Lake Superior. We do our best at caring for our marriage, ourselves, and 2 toddlers while maintaining as much sanity and objectivity as possible.

Kelsey - a Colorado mountain girl, adventurer, master nester, and appreciator of all things good and beautiful, turned wife, mom of 2, and psychotherapist.

Max - a bearded Northwoods boy, ultimate thrill-seeker, and extreme doer of all that can be done, turned husband, dad of 2, and attorney at law.
